In this post, we’ll see the steps to take a backup of your Twitter and Facebook account. Let’s get started.
Here, we’ll see the steps to take a backup of your Twitter account in PC and Android. Let’s see how to do it.
Twitter Web Version (PC)

The Twitter will begin to prepare your archive and send an email with a download link once it is complete. Keep in mind that it may take a few minutes, hours, or days to receive an email from them.

That’s all. Your Twitter backup will begin to download. Keep in mind that it is a Zip file and it will only contain all your tweets (including your first tweet) along with few account information.
Unzip it and open “index.html” file to see your backup in the browser.
If you want a backup of your Twitter profile information, then you need to take a backup on the Twitter app for Android. Continue reading to know how.
Twitter App (Android)
You cannot take a backup of your tweets on the Twitter app for Android.
However, you can take a backup of your Twitter profile information and some other data on the Twitter app.
Here’s how you can do that:
Note: Check out all the fields of “Your Profile,” and “Your Data” tab because your backup will only contain all fields of both tab (except Profile location).

The Twitter will email you once the backup is ready. It may take some time, a few minutes in my case.

Backup Facebook Account

That’s it. Facebook will send an email to the email address registered with your Facebook account when your backup is ready to download.
It may take some time (few minutes or hours) for Facebook to prepare the backup depends on your Facebook account data, a few minutes in my case.

Your backup will contain the timeline, photos, videos, messages, events, pages, friends, and much more information.
